As I finished up my packing for Japan, I was stunned to see how little I'd packed. When I studied abroad in Italy I took 2 overweight suitcases over and somehow came home with 4 suitcases! So the fact that I was able to cram everything into 1 suitcase, 1 duffle bag, and a carry-on is pretty much a miracle! Especially since for the first time in my life, I didn`t have to pay for an overweight suitcase!
Japan is incredible! I love it! I`m sitting in a cute Internet cafe in my enormous castle of a hotel and still trying to figure out the keyboard, but that`s been the most difficult feat so far. I`m about to travel to Kyoto with my piano teacher, Dr. Matsuo, and then go to Mt. Koyasan to stay at a Buddhist temple. I`ll write more about my adventures later.
